This week we are focusing on the importance of self-care.

Self Care is more than taking bubble baths and eating chocolate. We wanted to dig deeper and encourage you to check in with yourself. How are you feeling emotionally, physically and mentally? Are you taking care of your overall wellbeing? What are getting in the way of your happiness?

Self-care is an important aspect of this course, because taking care of yourself is how you will have longevity in creating a sustainable long-term business. It is important to take time to take care of and keep checking in with yourself on a regular basis. 

We wanted to take the approach of digging deeper into what self-care means to you and ask you some hard questions that will make you examine your life and establish where you are right now. We want you to question if what you are currently doing is working and how you can better take care of yourself throughout your business journey.

This week’s book is Daring Greatly by researcher and thought leader Dr. Brené Brown. This book is all about embracing vulnerability and imperfection, to live wholeheartedly, and to courageously engage in our lives.
